The City Police are designated as the authorized city officials to issue and serve district court appearance tickets for the violation of any section of this code and any other ordinance of this city and are further designated as the authorized city officials to issue municipal civil infraction citations (directing alleged violators to appear in court) or municipal civil infraction violation notices (directing alleged violators to appear at the Municipal Ordinance Violations Bureau) as provided by §§ 35.01 - 35.07 for any violations designated as municipal civil infractions, with the exception of those outlined in §§ 33.01 and 33.02.
