1014.07 TREE MAINTENANCE AND PRESERVATION ON CITY-OWNED PROPERTY AND PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY.
   (a)   No person shall plant, remove, cut down or injure any tree in any street right-of-way, parkway or other City-owned property, without having first received permission from the Department of Public Works.
   (b)   Any tree or limb thereof, or shrub planted on private property which overhangs any sidewalk, street or other City-owned property in such a way as to impede or interfere with safe traffic or travel conditions on such place, shall be trimmed by the owner of the premises on which such tree or shrub grows to eliminate the hazardous obstruction.
   (c)   Any tree on private property or limb thereof which is likely to fall on or across any sidewalk, street or other City-owned property shall be removed by the owner of the premises on which such tree is located.
