9-1-1: SHORT TITLE:
This chapter shall be cited as the "City of Horseshoe Bend Zoning Ordinance." (Ord. 232, 4-14-2010)
9-1-2: PURPOSES:
The purposes of this Zoning Ordinance are, consistent with the policies of the Comprehensive Plan, to separate, to the extent possible, land uses that might be incompatible with one another and to endeavor to assure public services sufficient to support land uses that are allowed. The purposes must be implemented in the community as it exists, rather than β€œon a clean slate.” Changes of zoning and methods chosen for implementation should fulfill the purposes stated above and the policies set forth in the Comprehensive Plan. 9-1-3: LEGAL AUTHORITY:
This Title is enacted pursuant to authority granted by Chapter 65, Title 67, Idaho Code (Local Land Use Planning Act); Chapter 13, Title 50, Idaho Code (Plats and Vacations); and Article 12, Section 2 of the Idaho Constitution as currently comprised or as subsequently amended. (Ord. 232, 4-14-2010)
