Issuance of a permit, pursuant to this section, is conditioned upon the following:
A. The applicant must provide proof of receipt of all necessary licenses required by the State, the County of Lewis and Clark, and/or the City prior to a permit being issued.
B. The applicant must acknowledge, through signature on the application, that the final approved application constitutes an agreement between the applicant and the City for the special event as outlined and approved in the application. Any violations of the application’s conditions and permit, including the alcohol permit waiver, will be grounds for immediate revocation of the permit, and closure of the special event, at the discretion of city staff.
C. For events that are expected to have one thousand (1000) or more spectators or participants, applicant will be required to sign an agreement with the City for the event prior to the first day of the event. The terms and conditions of the agreement will be specifically agreed upon between the parties and must abide by the provisions of this Title. The City, at its sole discretion, may impose other safety requirements upon the special events, such as safety barriers, traffic markers, presence of safety personnel, etc.
D. The applicant must provide proof of insurance as provided in this Title.
E. Violation of conditions of the application, agreement or permit can result in immediate revocation of the permit, and immediate closure of the special event, at the discretion of city staff. (Ord. 3309, 5-8-2023)
