1-3-1: GENERAL PENALTY:

Any person convicted of a violation of any section of this code for which no penalty is specifically provided shall be fined in a sum not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) for any one offense and such person may be confined in the Lewis and Clark County detention center for a period of not more than six (6) months. Either or both such fine and imprisonment may be imposed. (Ord. 2905, 2-26-2001)

1-3-2: DEFAULT:

Any person wilfully in default of payment of any fine imposed shall be imprisoned in the Lewis and Clark County detention center until the fine amount is discharged at the daily rate charged for incarceration. (Ord. 2905, 2-26-2001)
