The fire chief has exclusive control of the stationing and transfer of all firefighters and such other officers and special firefighters as may constitute the fire department. The fire chief has such power as is necessary to perform the duties prescribed by state law, this code, and the city manager. (Ord. 2910, 6-4-2001)
