The fire department consists of a chief of the fire department and such numbers of paid officers and firefighters as the commission may provide. The fire department is regulated by state law, this code, and such other rules and regulations as the fire chief, under the supervision of the city manager, may prescribe. (Ord. 2910, 6-4-2001)
