During the time of year when the fall of snow or rain creates or tends to create slippery areas on the mall, it shall be the duty of every owner, lessee or occupant of premises adjoining the mall to clear that portion of the mall within a distance of five feet (5') of the common property boundary between the mall right-of-way owned by the City and his parcel of snow or ice in a timely manner. No person shall use chemicals for ice or snow removal, except as such chemicals are approved by the City Manager or his designee. (Ord. 2295, 2-28-1983; amd.
