5-10-6: EXCEPTIONS:
In the following exceptional cases a minor in or upon any street or public place within the city, during the hours provided in section 5-10-7 of this chapter, shall not be considered in violation of the curfew chapter when:
   A.   Accompanied by a parent of such minor.
   B.   Accompanied by an adult authorized by a parent of such minor to take said parent's place in accompanying said minor for a designated period of time and purpose within a specified area.
   C.   In the performance of an errand or duty directed by a parent of such minor.
   D.   Attending an authorized school, recreational or religious activity. This exception will apply for one-half (1/2) hour after the completion of such activity.
   E.   Engaged in legally recognized employment. This exception will apply for the period from one-half (1/2) hour before to one-half (1/2) hour after work.
   F.   The minor is, with parental consent, engaged in interstate travel through the city. This also exempts interstate travel beginning or ending within the city. (Ord. 2252, 6-28-1982)
