Violation of the provisions of this chapter or failure to comply with any of the requirements, including permit approval prior to development in the floodplain is a misdemeanor. Any person who violates these regulations or fails to comply with any of its requirements must, upon conviction, be fined not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) or imprisoned in jail for not more than ten (10) days or both. Each day's continuance of a violation is a separate and distinct offense. (Ord. 3159, 8-20-2012)
