GENERAL REGULATIONS
§ 70.01 OVERTAKING AND PASSING SCHOOL BUS.
   (A)   The driver of a vehicle upon any street or roadway within the city upon meeting or overtaking from either direction any school bus which has stopped on the roadway for the purpose of receiving or discharging any school children shall stop the vehicle before reaching the school bus when there is in operation on the school bus a visual signal as specified in Tex. Trans. Code, Ch. 544, and the driver shall not proceed until the school bus resumes motion or is signaled by the school bus driver to proceed or the visual signals are not longer actuated.
   (B)   The driver of a vehicle upon any roadway or street with separate roadways need not stop upon meeting or passing a school bus which is on a different roadway and where pedestrians are not permitted to cross the roadway.

§ 70.02 USE OF MOTORIZED VEHICLES IN PUBLIC PARKS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to operate or ride a motorized vehicle on any designated trail system or public park of the city, except in areas specified for parking. Park maintenance vehicles, public safety vehicles, handicap accessibility vehicles and vehicles used in connection with special events, if approved by the City Manager or his or her designee, shall be exempt from this division (A).
   (B)   Motorized vehicles shall be defined as any vehicle propelled by a motor including but not limited to go-carts, all terrain vehicles (ATV’s), mini bikes and golf carts.
