The following elected officers, appointed officers and employees of the city shall receive the following compensation:
A. The salaries of the mayor and council members shall be set by the city council by ordinance passed and published at least seventy five (75) days before any general city election. Such ordinance shall take effect on January 1, following said election and continuing until changed pursuant to this section.
1. Mayor: The mayor shall receive the sum of six thousand dollars ($6,000.00) per year payable in equal monthly installments. The salary is to be paid from the general fund and charged to each fund in accordance with the annual budget set by the city council.
2. Council Members: Each member of the city council shall receive the sum of nine hundred dollars ($900.00) per year, payable in equal quarterly installments from the general fund and charged to each fund in accordance with the annual budget set by the city council. (Ord. 462, 7-7-2015)
