7-1-4: AUTHORITY TO SHUT OFF WATER:
The water department reserves the right at any time to shut off, without notice, the water from its mains for the purpose of making repairs or extensions, or for any other purpose; and no claim shall be made against the city by reason of the breakage of any service pipe or from any other damage that may result from shutting off said water. (1983 Code § 14.20.040)
