6-4-6: STORMWATER FACILITIES:
Stormwater facilities shall be installed at the time of or prior to development of adjacent property. Stormwater facilities must be designed by a civil engineer. If a project will place a burden on downstream facilities, the developer may be required to construct or improve such off site facilities. The city may waive the requirement of an engineered design for a small project upon a determination by the council that the complexity of the project does not require engineered plans. For purposes of this section, small projects are less than two (2) acres in size and one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) in construction costs. All subdivisions must have engineered plans for improvements 1 . (Ord. 362, 3-7-2000)
