§ 1-631.   Additional Duties of Township Attorney.
In addition to the duties as set forth in the Charter (See § 5.03) the Township Attorney shall:
   A.   Advise Township. Advise the Council, or its Committees or any Township Officer when authorized by the Manager, upon all legal questions arising in the conduct of Township business.
   B.   Prepare or Review Ordinances. Prepare or review ordinances when so requested by the Council or any Committee thereof.
   C.   Attend Meetings. Attend meetings as designated by Council.
   D.   Prepare and Review Contracts, Bonds. When requested, prepare and review contracts and instruments to which the Township is a party and shall approve as to form, all bonds required to be submitted to the Township.
   E.   Report on Litigation. Immediately report the outcome of any litigation in which the Township has an interest to the Township Manager and Council.
   F.   Maintain Complete Records. Maintain a complete record of all Township legal matters.
   G.   Preparing Successor in Office. Deliver all records, documents and property of every description in his possession, belonging to the Township, to his successor in office, who shall give him duplicate receipts therefor, one of which he shall file with the Township Manager.
