Every person acquiring a license for a junk shop under the provisions of this subchapter shall at the time of receiving his or her license, execute a bond to the city with good and sufficient sureties to be approved by the City Controller in the sum of $250 conditioned for the due observance of this code and other ordinances of the city now in force or which may hereafter be passed respecting the keeping of junk stores or shops.
