§ 118.38 JUNK SHOP LICENSE REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)    It shall be unlawful for any person to exercise, carry on or engage in the business of keeping a junk store or what is commonly called a junk shop for the purchase, sale, barter, exchange or other dealings in or storage of rags or old rope, paper, bagging, old iron, brass, copper, tin, slush, lead, empty bottles or other junk without first having obtained a license from the city for that purpose.
   (B)   Any person, partnership, corporation or other entity desiring a license to operate a junk store or junk shop shall make application to the City Controller, setting out in the application the following information:
      (1)   Name, residence of all owners, partners or corporate board of directors;
      (2)   Address where business will be conducted;
      (3)   Hours of business; and
      (4)   Nature of goods to be bought or sold.
   (C)   The business will only be allowed to operate at the location specified on the license application. Each additional location will require an additional license.
   (D)   The cost of each license shall be $10 per year and the license shall expire December 31. The cost of license renewal shall be $10 per year per location and application for renewal shall be made at least 30 days prior to the expiration of the current license.
