Upon the approval of the bond required by § 101.123, the Board of Public Works and Safety shall approve the application for a license by endorsing their written approval thereon, in writing, and the City Controller shall issue to the applicant an annual license to engage in the business of constructing and building sidewalks, as provided in this section, upon the payment by the applicant to the city of the annual license fee in the sum of $25.
