§ 100.23 LIGHTS REQUIRED.
   Every locomotive engine, railroad car or train of cars, running in the nighttime on any railroad track in the city, shall have and keep while so running a brilliant and conspicuous light on the forward end of the locomotive engine or train of cars, and in case any engine, car or train shall be run backward at that time, the light shall be kept at the rear end thereof.
