§ 100.21 WARNING SIGNALS ON GATES REQUIRED.
   (A)   (1)   All railroads passing through any part of the city who maintain safety gates at the intersection of their respective rights-of-way with any public highway in the city at grade crossings shall equip all the gates with electric lights or warning signals of sufficient power and intensity to warn approaching vehicles or pedestrians that the gates are closed.
      (2)   The warning lights on the arms of the gates shall be operated and kept at all times lighted whether the gates are open or closed between dusk and dawn of each and every day of the year.
   (B)   All railroads operating in the city and having or using a railroad crossing in the city are hereby required to maintain in continuous and proper working condition all grade crossing equipment and safety devices so as not to unnecessarily impede or adversely affect traffic or adversely affect the health and welfare of the community.
   (C)   All railroads operating in the city and having or using a railroad crossing shall be required to install all crossing equipment as required by § 100.01.
