§ 93.026 LOCATION AND CONSTRUCTION OF STORAGE AREA.
   (A)   No powder magazine or other place for storing gunpowder, guncotton, giant powder, dynamite, nitroglycerine, fulminate of mercury or other high explosives of similar nature in greater quantities than as authorized in § 93.024, shall be kept or maintained within the city, unless the powder, magazine or place shall be erected and constructed in a safe, substantial manner according to the most approved methods employed or used for the erection and construction of the magazines or places and to the satisfaction and approval of the Chief of the Fire Department.
   (B)   No powder magazine or place shall be located or situated so that any portion of the magazine or place is less than 800 feet from any building, structure or public way. If any person licensed under the provisions of this subchapter shall desire to keep on hand a greater quantity or number of percussion caps or primers than specified in § 93.024, and shall keep or store the percussion caps or primers in a building or structure where no gunpowder, guncotton, giant powder, dynamite, nitroglycerine, fulminate of mercury or other high explosives of similar nature are kept, the person may be permitted to keep or store the quantity of percussion caps or primers if they are kept or stored in a fireproof vault, which shall not be located above the second floor of any building or structure. The fireproof vault shall be located and constructed in a manner satisfactory to and approved by the Chief of the Fire Department.
