349.11 SPECIFICALLY CHARTED LOW-SPEED FOR HIRE VEHICLES.

   Only low-speed for hire vehicles in such numbers as provided herein shall remain while awaiting employment, at the route start or stop points approved by the City of Hamilton Department of Engineering pursuant to Section 349.10. The Engineering Department shall determine the number and location of any public stands, and shall establish such further regulations not inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter as the Director of that Department deems necessary. The owner of a low-speed for hire vehicle licensed as provided in this chapter may load or unload a group of passengers at such point or points in the City as may have been agreed upon in advance by the person, firm or corporation chartering such low-speed for hire vehicle subject to the approval of the City of Hamilton Engineering Department or the Police Department.
