721.05 PUBLIC DANCE OR DANCING CLASS PERMIT; FEE.
   No person not the holder of a public dance hall or dance studio license shall hold or conduct a public dance or to conduct a class or classes in dancing for hire without first having obtained a permit therefor, to be issued by the Director of Finance. No such permit shall be issued unless application therefor shall have been made at least forty-eight hours before the time such public dance, or any such class, is to be held or conducted. If such public dance or any such class is not to be held or conducted in a licensed public dance hall or dance studio, the issuance of any permit therefor shall be subject to all the provisions of Sections 721.02, 721.03 and 721.04 in like manner as for a public dance hall or dance studio license, and the fee therefor shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each public dance or for each class. If it is to be held or conducted in a licensed public dance hall or dance studio, the issuance of any permit therefor shall be subject to all the provisions of Section 721.03, in like manner as for a public dance hall or dance studio license, and the fee shall be ten dollars ($10.00). No permit issued under the provisions of this section shall be transferable. (Ord. 7307. Passed 8-6-69.)
