24-6-5 TRUCK PARKING PROHIBITIONS.
   (A)   Parking in Excess of Eight (8) Hours Restricted.
   It shall be unlawful for motor vehicles of the second division to be parked on any street within the corporate limits of the Village for a period of time in excess of eight (8) hours. The foregoing shall not apply to motor vehicles of the second division commonly classified as three-quarter (3/4) ton or pickups, or to motor vehicles licensed for a gross weight not exceeding eight thousand (8,000) pounds.
   (B)   Parking in Excess of Twenty-Four (24) Hours Restricted.
   It shall be unlawful for recreational vehicles to include motorized and nonmotorized motor homes, campers, trailers, and fifth wheel trailers, to be parked on any street within the corporate limits of the Village for a period of time in excess of twenty-four (24) hours.
   (C)   Parking in Residential Areas Restricted. 
   It shall be unlawful for motor vehicles of the second division to park in the corporate limits of the Village in a residential zoned district as shown on the Zoning District Map, excepting those vehicles parked for the purpose of and while actually engaged in, loading and unloading; and excepting motor vehicles of the second division commonly classified as three-quarter (3/4) ton or pickups, or to motor vehicles having a license or gross weight not in excess of eight thousand (8,000) pounds.
   (D)   Parking Location Restrictions.  
   It shall be unlawful for motor vehicles of the second division, recreational vehicles to include motorized and non-motorized motor homes, campers, trailers, and fifth-wheel trailers to park in the corporate limits of the Village in any manner that impedes the movement of traffic or interferes with the operation of any business or place of public accommodation, access to any structure or residence or otherwise to impede the ordinary movement of vehicles on highways, streets, parking lots, driveways or other places.
     (E)   Commercial Deliveries; Restrictions. 
   All loading and/or unloading of commercial deliveries shall be done within the physical confines of the subject property receiving the delivery, or where permitted, along any adjacent non-highway street access, and not from within the confines of any adjacent property not held in common ownership. It shall be the obligation of any commercial entity receiving deliveries to notify all companies providing commercial deliveries to its property of the provisions and requirements of this Ordinance.
   (F)   Village Hall Parking Lot Restrictions. 
   It shall be unlawful for motor vehicles of the second division to park within or drive upon the Hamel Village Hall parking lots, excepting those vehicles having a license or gross weight not in excess of eight thousand (8,000) pounds, and provided the overall length of such vehicle does not exceed twenty-two (22) feet.
   (G)   Signage. 
   The Hamel Public Works Department is hereby authorized and directed to acquire and install such signage as may be necessary to effect the purpose and intent of this Ordinance.
   (H)   Violations. 
   Any person or commercial entity violating any provision of Chapter 24, Article VI is deemed a violation of the Hamel Revised Code of Ordinances, subject to prosecution as an Ordinance Violation, and punishable in accordance with the Village of Hamel's General Penalty provision.
