ARTICLE I – PLANNING COMMISSION
4-1-1 ESTABLISHED.
   A Planning Commission is hereby created under authority of the 65 ILCS 5/11-12-4 through 5/11-12-12.
4-1-2 MEMBERSHIP AND TERM OF OFFICE.
   The Planning Commission shall consist of seven (7) members appointed by the Mayor and with the consent of the Village Board of Trustees. Vacancies to membership on the Planning Commission shall be filled by appointment for the unexpired term only. The chairperson of the Planning Commission shall hold office until his term of appointment expires, or is otherwise terminated.
