21-2-6 CLASSIFICATION – FEE - LIMITATION.
   Every person engaged in the retail sale of alcoholic liquor in the Village shall pay an annual license fee. Such licenses shall be divided into the following six (6) classes:
   (A)   Class “A” License: Taverns.
   There is hereby created a Class “A” liquor license, which shall authorize the retail sale on the premises specified of alcoholic liquor of all varieties, for consumption on the premises specified, as well as retail sale of alcoholic liquor in the original package for consumption off premises. The annual fee for such license issued for the license period of May 1 through April 30 of the following year shall be Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($550.00). (Ord. No. 18-11; 07-10-18)
   (B)   Class “B” Licenses: Package Liquor, Convenience Stores, Grocery Stores.
   There is hereby created a Class “B” license, which shall permit the sale of alcoholic liquor for consumption off the premises, such sales to occur in the original package only. Alcoholic liquor in said places of business shall be inaccessible to customers during all times other than those hours of operation specified in Section 21-3-1. The annual fee for such license issued for the license period of May 1 through April 30 of the following year shall be Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($550.00).
   (C)   Class "C" Licenses: Restaurants.
   There is hereby created a Class "C" license, which shall permit the sale of alcoholic liquor at retail for consumption on the premises in conjunction with the operation of a Restaurant. The annual fee for such license issued for the license period of May 1, 2021 through April 30, 2022 shall be One Dollar ($1.00). The annual fee for such license issued for the license period of May 1, 2022 through April 30 of the following year, and for each license period thereafter, shall be Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($550.00).
   (D)   Class “D” Licenses: Winery/Brewery.
   There is hereby created a Class “D” license, which shall permit the sale of wine and beer, excluding all hard liquors, for consumption on the licensed premises as well as the retail sale of such wine and beer in the original package for consumption off premises. The annual fee for such license issued for the license period of May 1 through April 30 of the following year shall be Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($550.00).
   (E)   Class “E” Licenses: Private Clubs.
   There is hereby created a Class “E” license, which shall authorize any club to sell alcoholic liquor on the licensed premises at retail for consumption by its members and guests. The annual fee for such license issued for the license period of May 1 through April 30 of the following year shall be Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($550.00).
   (F)   Class “F” Licenses: Civic Organizations, Etc.
   There is hereby created a Class “F” license, which shall authorize any charitable, educational or benevolent corporation or club or organization to purchase a special daily license for the retail sale of alcoholic liquor for any special outdoor function or program, with such daily special license being regulated by the closing hours of a Class “A” license. Upon application, the Liquor Commissioner is authorized to issue a Class “F” license for a period of twenty-four (24) or forty-eight (48) hours. The fee for such daily license shall be Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per day, subject to the provisions of this Chapter. (235 ILCS 5/4-1)
