A. Medical Marijuana businesses , research facilities and educational facilities as defined herein shall be authorized to destroy the following marijuana plant parts without being required to utilize the services of a Medical Marijuana Waste Disposal Facility:
1. Root balls;
2. Stems;
3. Fan leaves, and
4. Seeds
These listed marijuana plant parts shall be destroyed on-site by burying, mulching, composting or any other technique approved by the Department of Environmental Quality. It shall be prohibited to destroy the listed marijuana plant parts by open burning or incineration. (Ord. 773, 8-6-2019)
