17-504: DISPOSAL:
   A.   Household garbage shall be bagged and placed by residents in approved containers for curbside collection, unless otherwise allowed for in this chapter. The City of Grove or their private contractor shall deliver all solid waste collected to a licensed solid waste facility or recycling facility.
   B.   Grass clippings and leaves shall be bagged, other yard debris and home improvement waste too large to conveniently place in containers shall be bundled and tied with degradable string or twine and shall not exceed four inches (4") in diameter and four feet (4') in length and shall not weigh more than fifty (50) pounds.
   C.   A combination of household garbage, yard debris and home improvement waste shall not exceed one hundred ninety (190) gallons per household per week.
   D.   The City of Grove shall provide trash can receptacles for public use at City owned facilities and parks. The trash can receptacles may be used by the public for the disposal of waste materials such as paper, plastic, food containers, glass bottles and aluminum cans.
   E.   Disposing or dumping of waste material, garbage, refuse, rubbish and/or rubble into dumpsters located on City property shall be prohibited; dumpsters shall be used for the City of Grove by City employees only. (Ord. 750, 4-17-2018)
