A. Every taxicab operating under the provisions of this chapter in the city shall have at all times posted in some conspicuous place in such taxicab, the maximum rates to be charged for services and transportation of passengers, and a copy of the rates shall also be filed with the city clerk.
B. It is unlawful for any person to refuse to pay the legal fare of any taxicab after having hired the same. It is unlawful for a person to hire a taxicab with the intent to defraud the taxicab service provider of the value of such service. (Ord. 523, 9-21-2004)
