All taxicab service providers operating in the city shall submit for the city's review proof of insurance and an application for a taxicab license giving the name and business address of the applicant, together with the approximate number of vehicles proposed to be operated and such other information as the council may require. Upon submission of the foregoing information, as well as payment of the licensing fee, the city clerk shall issue a license to the applicant which shall allow the taxicab service to operate within the city for one year. The licensing fee shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00) per year, per taxicab service. (Ord. 523, 9-21-2004)
