9-201: LICENSE REQUIRED TO OPERATE POOL OR BILLIARD HALL, DOMINO PARLOR 1 :
A person not otherwise prohibited by law of the state is permitted to maintain and operate a pool hall or billiard hall. In connection with operating a pool or billiard hall a person may also operate domino tables. A license may be granted to operate a pool or billiard hall, or domino tables in connection therewith, upon the payment of a license fee of twenty five dollars ($25.00), paid in advance. The pool or billiard hall or domino tables shall be conducted in a building fronting a main street. The building shall have glass windows which do not obstruct the view of the public from the street, and there shall be no partitions, screens, or obstructions in the building to prevent complete view from the front of the building directly through the outside window to the rear of the same. No pool hall or billiard hall or domino parlor shall be operated other than on the ground floor. (Ord. 102, 2-29-1940)
