A. The regulations of the latest edition of the International Residential Code and its appendices as adopted by the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission pursuant to 59 Oklahoma Statutes 1000.23 are hereby adopted by the City for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing construction, alteration, and remodel of residential buildings and structures, one copy of which has been filed in the Office of the City Clerk and the same and any future amendments thereto is hereby adopted and incorporated as though fully set out at length herein and from the effective date, the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the limits of the City.
