§ 70.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   General. Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
   (B)   Speed limit violations. Any person who violates any provision of § 70.01 of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be fined in any sum not to exceed $10.
   (C)   Stop sign violations. Any person who fails to stop at any intersection where a stop sign has been erected pursuant to any ordinances providing for stop signs to be erected or who fails to yield the right-of- way at any of the intersections where a yield sign has been erected pursuant to the provisions of any ordinance of the town shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a penalty in the sum of $25.
   (D)   Parking violations.
      (1)   Whoever violates §§ 70.15 through 70.19 or § 70.21 of this chapter shall be fined $5 for the violation. Any person who fails to pay this fine within 30 days of the violation shall be charged an additional $10.
      (2)   Whoever violates § 70.20 of this chapter shall be fined $25. Any person who fails to pay this fine within 30 days of the date of the violation shall be fined an additional $10 for each 30-day period that the fine is late.
      (3)   Any person who has received a notice to appear and answer to any parking violation may, unless otherwise provided in the notice and within the time specified in the notice, appear at the town’s Utility Office to pay the fine and in writing admit the charge, waiving a hearing in court, which shall be deemed to be a complete satisfaction for the violator. The violator shall be given a receipt which so states.
