One single or double face freestanding sign or one wall sign per building frontage per building, either of which may be illuminated, for each permitted public use or similar institutional building. Such signs shall be solely for the purpose of displaying the name of the institution or its activities or services, and shall meet the following standards (see Figure 11-5-3-2:A, set out in Section 11-9-3):
A. Surface Area: The surface area of such signs shall not be greater than twenty five (25) square feet per sign face; and
B. Height: The height of a freestanding sign shall not be higher than ten feet (10'). (Ord. 91-06, 8-28-91)
