Any person violating any ordinances of the City shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and where no other penalty is set forth in any ordinance, shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed three hundred dollars ($300.00) for any one offense, or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment 1 .
