1-9-2: MEMBERS:
   (A)   Number; Appointment: The commission shall consist of five (5) members to be appointed by the mayor and confirmed by a majority vote of the city council. (Ord. 202, 4-15-1986)
   (B)   Residency: All members of the commission shall be residents of the city or of the area of city impact 1 as the same is prescribed by the mayor and city council. Appointed members of the commission must have resided in the county for two (2) years prior to their appointment and must remain residents of the city or impact area during their service on the commission.
   (C)   Term Of Office; Vacancies: Three (3) members of the commission shall be appointed for a term of three (3) years and two (2) members shall be appointed for a term of four (4) years. Vacancies occurring otherwise than through the expiration of terms shall be filled in the same manner as by the original appointment. No person shall serve more than two (2) full consecutive terms without specific concurrence by two-thirds (2/3) of the city council adopted by motion and recorded in the minutes.
   (D)   Removal: Members of the commission may be removed for cause by a majority vote of the city council. (Ord. 2012-294, 2-1-2012)
