Any owner, occupant, or other person in control of a premises who allows a nuisance on his premises in violation of any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed three hundred dollars ($300.00) or confinement in the county jail for a period not to exceed six (6) months or by both such fine and imprisonment.
