6-2-8: CONTRACT FOR GARBAGE COLLECTION:
Collection of garbage and refuse may be provided by the sanitation department or a contract for the collection and disposal of garbage and refuse may be let to the lowest and best responsible bidder after proper advertising in the official newspaper for such times as the city council may direct. (Ord. 163, 11-16-1976)
