6-2-5: CONTAINER SPECIFICATIONS AND PLACEMENT:
   (A)   All garbage, refuse, and rubbish shall be placed in those containers as are provided by the City or as may be required to be purchased by the City. All containers shall be kept covered, and for purposes of collection, shall be placed at or near the street line, with the exception of commercial establishments which shall place their refuse or garbage containers near the alley line. Metal garbage cans, oil drums, wash tubs and similar containers shall not be used for garbage, refuse, or rubbish collection, and the same shall not be collected by the City if stored in such containers. Only authorized containers of the City shall be used. Objects too large to be contained by an authorized container shall not be included in the definition of "garbage", "refuse", or "rubbish", and shall not be collected. All ashes shall be cool and free from any fire, live coals, other substances which might ignite or otherwise cause the container to be damaged. No broken concrete, rocks, plaster, discarded building materials, or trees or tree limbs shall be included within the definition of "garbage", "refuse" or "rubbish", and the same shall not be deposited in garbage containers authorized by the City. All debris resulting from the construction, reconstruction or repairs of a premises located within the City shall not be placed with other garbage or refuse for collection but shall be disposed of directly by the person or persons owning, occupying or leasing the premises in a sanitary landfill authorized for said purposes.
