The discharge, firing, use or possession within the limits of the City of all firecrackers, rockets, torpedoes, Roman candles or other fireworks or substances designed and intended for pyrotechnic display, all pistols, canes, cannons, other appliances using plane cartridges or caps containing chlorate or potash mixture, or other explosives is hereby expressly prohibited.
