3-1-10: POLICE AUTHORITY:
When on active duty the Fire Chief and Assistant Fire Chief shall each be invested with the authority of police officer of the City with authority to make arrests, and shall each likewise have such police authority for the purpose of enforcing any provision of this Code relating to matters of fire protection or prevention. (1-710; 1947 Code)
