3-1-4: APPOINTMENTS:
The Fire Chief and Assistant Fire Chief shall each be appointed by the Mayor, by and with the consent of the Council, and shall hold office until the expiration of the term of the appointing power, unless sooner removed by the Mayor. (1-704; 1947 Code)
