A. Vacancies: Vacancies occurring otherwise than through the expiration of terms shall be filled by the mayor and confirmed by the council.
B. Removal: Members may be removed by a majority vote of the body confirming the original appointment.
C. Compensation: Members shall be selected without respect to political affiliation and may receive such mileage and per diem compensation not to exceed ten cents ($0.10) per mile and ten dollars ($10.00) per day as may from time to time be determined by the council of the city.
