Said Board shall, immediately after their appointment meet, and organize by the election of one of their number President, and by the election of such other officers as they may deem necessary. They shall make and adopt such rules and regulations as may be expedient. They shall have exclusive control of the expenditure of all monies collected and the supervision, care and custody of all buildings used for library purposes. They may appoint a librarian and assistants and prescribe rules for their conduct. (1970 Code)
