2-1-4: SPECIAL PERMITS; FEES:
Application for a special permit shall be filed with the Building Inspector in writing, together with all facts bearing on the proposed occupancy or variance. The applicant shall pay to the Building Inspector a filing fee of ten dollars ($10.00), except that in all cases where it is necessary to have an ownership or radius plat prepared, when the value of any construction connected therewith exceeds two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00), the applicant shall pay the Building Inspector a filing fee of twenty five dollars ($25.00). The Building Inspector shall forthwith transmit to the secretary of the Board all papers with reference to the proposal. The Board shall cause a public hearing to be held before such permit is acted upon. Notice of the time and place of such hearing shall be published in the official paper of the City, one time at least fifteen (15) days before such hearing; provided, however, the holding of a public hearing shall be within the discretion of the Board of Adjustment.
