10-4-1: SPEED LIMITS DESIGNATED:
   A.   Any person driving a vehicle or motor vehicle on any public street or alley of the city shall drive the same at a careful and prudent speed not greater than is reasonable and proper, having due regard to the traffic, surface and width of the street or alley and any other conditions then existing, and no person shall drive a vehicle or motor vehicle upon any street or alley of such city at such speed as to endanger the life, limb or property of any person.
   B.   Subject to the foregoing provisions the maximum speed limit of vehicles and motor vehicles on all of the public streets and alleys of the city shall be twenty five (25) miles per hour, unless otherwise stated: (Ord. 580, 4-6-1992)
On Main Street between Eleventh Avenue south and Twenty First Avenue south, the maximum speed limit shall be twenty five (25) miles per hour.
On south Gooding Main Street, from its intersection with U.S. Highway 26; south to the southern Gooding city limits, the maximum speed limit shall be thirty five (35) miles per hour. (Ord. 613, 4-3-2000; amd. Ord. 647, 10-3-2005)
