It shall be unlawful and shall constitute an offense for any person to operate or for the owner thereof to permit the operation upon the streets of the City of any motor vehicle, trailer or semi-trailer which is not registered and which does not have attached thereto and displayed thereon the number plate or plates assigned thereto for the current registration year which said plates have been provided for by the laws of the State of Idaho. The operation of any vehicle not eligible for registration and licensing on any street of the City is hereby declared to be unlawful. (Ord. 401, 1-21-1963)
