7-2-5: CONDUCT OF SPECTATORS AT FIRE:
It shall be unlawful for any onlooker, bystander or spectator to knowingly or wilfully handle, stand upon or otherwise interfere with any fire apparatus while the same is being used to extinguish any fire or to approach nearer than one hundred feet (100') to the building or fire. Provided, this Section shall not apply to the owner or occupant of said building or any person assisting in removing articles of property therefrom at the request and by the permission of the owner or the Chief of the Fire Department or the representative of any insurance company having insurance thereon or the contents thereof, or to any person assisting in extinguishing said fire upon the request of the Chief of the Fire Department or persons in charge of fire apparatus.
