A. The 2000 Edition of the International Fire Code is adopted as the official fire code of the City of Gooding, State of Idaho, for regulating and governing the safeguarding of life and property from fire and explosion hazards arising from the storage, handling and use of hazardous substances, materials and devices, and from conditions hazardous to life or property in the occupancy of buildings and premises in the City of Gooding, Idaho and providing for the issuance of permits for hazardous uses or operations; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, conditions and terms of the International Fire Code, 2000 Edition, are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this Chapter.
B. The adoptive versions of the foregoing code shall be deemed superceded by successive versions of such code as they are adopted or approved by the Idaho State Fire Marshall or the State of Idaho, effective on the date any such codes are made effective by either the Fire Marshal or Idaho legislation.
