5-1-7: REVOCATION OF LICENSES:
The right shall be and at all times, remain vested in the Council to revoke or cancel the license of any person licensed hereunder for any violation of this Chapter, at a regular or a special meeting, and upon verified complaint filed with the Council, the Council shall cause such alleged offender to appear before said Council, and be heard upon said complaint; copy of said complaint shall be served with said notice, and the day and hour of the hearing which shall be at least two (2) days hence, shall be specified in such notice, and such hearing shall be had in the Clerk's office, unless a different place be specified in such notice; and if at said hearing, upon the taking of evidence on behalf of the City and such alleged offender, it shall appear to said Council that cause exists for the cancellation or revocation of such license, the same may be cancelled or revoked without further process of law.
